Snooow!! We got our first snow yesterday and I had an opportunity to take some photos. : >

Täydellinen sää vampyyreille. Elissabat ja Lucretia ihastelevat lunta,

joka hohtaa kuin se olisi täynnä valoa. 

A perfect weather for vampires. Elissabat and Lucretia are admiring the snow

which seems to be full of light.

Elissabat: "Kuinka ihanaa käydä ulkona valoisan aikaan ilman aurinkoa!"

Luca: "Kovin viileä tämä sää, mutta onhan tämä mukavaa..."

Elissabat: "How lovely to go out during the light without sun!"

Luca: "Slightly chilly, this weather, but quite nice I guess..."

L: "Ellie, katso nopeasti! Musta kissa."

E: "Haha, pelkäätkö perjantai 13. pahaa tuuria?"

*naurahtaa*

L: "Ellie, look quickly! A black cat."

E: Haha, are you scared of the bad luck of Friday the 13th?"

*giggles*

L: "Mutta tuo kissa kantaa miekkaa. Olisiko se Noel josta Lazare on puhunut?"

E: "Niinkö? Mennään juttelemaan! ^_^ " 

L: "But that cat carries a sword. Could he be Noel who Lazare has been talking about?"

E: "Really? Let's go talk with him! ^_^ "

Ja sehän tosiaan oli "kadonnut" Noel-kissa. 

It was indeed the "lost" cat Noel.

L: "Kuinka mukavaa tavata sinut. Lazare on ollut huolissaan."

L: "How delightful to meet you. Lazare has worried about you."

E: "Kuin telkkarista! Ilmestyit eteemme juuri sopivasti!"

E: "SO like in TV! You appeared in front of us just suitably!"

Noel: "Se hölmö huolestui, miau?! Hahaa, ehkä lähdin vähän äkkiä..."

E: "Niin lienee käyneen. Haluaisitko sinä nähdä hänet taas?"

Noel: "That fool got worried, meow?! Hahaa, maybe I did leave in a hurry..."

E: "So it seems. Would you like to see him again?"

Noel: "Joo! Olkaa hyvät ja näyttäkää tietä, miau!"

Noel: "Yeah! Please show me the way, meow!"

Ajattelin Noelille tuollaista puhetapaa, että tuttuja kissamaisia "sanoja" lauseen loppuun tai keskelle, ilman että puheesta tulee vaikeasti luettavaa. Miltä kuulostaa? : >

I was thinking of giving Noel a cat-like manner of speaking, with cats' common "words" at the end of sentence or in the middle of it, making sure his speech can still be easy to read. How does that sound? : >

Noelia ei juurikaan ole kunnolla vielä näkynyt blogin puolella, joten muutama kuva eräältä aurinkoiselta päivältä.

Noel hasn't shown up properly in here blog yet so here's a couple of photos from one sunny day. 

Vaikkakin on hirviökissa, Noel omaa muutaman kissamaisen stereotypian: inho vettä kohtaan ja rakkaus kiipeilyyn!

Even if he is a monster cat, Noel has some cat-like stereotypes: disgust for water & love for climbing high!

I found that cat toy from a second hand store, and I painted new eyes for it, and added colour to some other spots too in the toy. Originally a toy from Puss in Boots, Kitty Softpaws, from McDonald's maybe?

Meeting New Friends

Hello to you all!

Viimeksi tarina jäi siihen, kun Routa ja Lazare tapasivat metsässä. Lazare etsi silloin matkakumppaniaan Noelia, ja Routa sai suostuteltua demonipojan mukaansa. 

Last time in the story Routa and Lazare met in the forest. Back then Lazare was searching for his travelling partner Noel, and then Routa asked the demon boy to come with him.

Routa: "Kaikki ovat koolla? Hyvä!"
Routa oli ensimmäisenä äänessä, Lazare istui hieman hermostuneena hänen vieressään. Vampyyrineidit silmäilivät tulokasta hiljaisena mutta kiinnostuneena, Rochelle odotti tyynesti Roudan jatkavan aiheesta, ja Jacksonia mietitytti viereisellä penkillä istuvan pojan pitkät korvat.

Routa: "Everyone is here? Good!"
Routa was first to open his mouth, Lazare sat next to him a bit nervously. Vampire ladies eyed out the newcomer in silence yet you could tell they were curious, Rochelle was waiting patiently for Routa to continue the topic, and Jackson couldn't help but be puzzled about the long ears of the boy sitting on the next bench. 

Routa selitti päivän tapahtumat muille ja he tulivat yksimieliseen tulokseen siitä että Lazare olisi tervetullut heidän luokseen.
Elissabat: "Tervetuloa! Toivottavasti viihdyt."

Routa explained the situation to others and they came to unanimous decision to have Lazare with them.
Elissabat: "Welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay here."

Rochelle: "Toinen hirviö Ranskasta! Ihanaa! ^w^"
Jackson: "...Sori jos tuijotin korviasi, ne on oikeesti ihan hienot... : D"

Rochelle: "Another monster from France! How wonderful! ^w^"
Jackson: "...Sorry for starin' at your ears, they're pretty nice actually... : D"

Lazare: "Kiitos kaikille! Nyt kun vain Noel löytäisi perille..."
Rochelle: "Millainen henkilö hän on? Ihminen? Hirviö?"

Lazare: "Thank you all! Now only if Noel could find his way here..."
Rochelle: "What kind of person is he? Human? Monster?"

Lazare: "Itse asiassa.... Noel on ranskalainen hirviökissa, matagot. Tosin nykyään se ei enää käytä taikuutta. Hän on myös aika itsepäinen, mutta muuten ihan... Mukava."
*mutisee viimeiset kohdat*
Lazare: "-Saapasjalkakissa- on sen lempisatu ja niinpä Noel harjoittelee miekkailemista. Me matkustetaan yhdessä kirouksen takia, mutta en minä Noelia ystäväksi laskisi... Ehkä."

Lazare: "Uh well.... Noel is actually a French monster cat, matagot. But for now he's not using any magic. He's also quite stubborn but besides that he's... Alright."
*mumbles at the last parts*
Lazare: "-Puss in the Boots- is his favourite fairy tale so Noel likes to practice sword fighting. We're travelling togerther because of a curse but I wouldn't really call Noel my friend.... Maybe."

Jackson: "Eipä taia olla mikään normi kotikissa. x_x'"
Lucretia: "Kiehtovaa. Haluaisin tutustua ystävääsi."
Routa: "Minä myös! Onko muuten kellään muulla nälkä? : P"
Lazare: "Ei se ole ystävä Ähh antaa olla. : D"

Jackson: "Not a normal house cat I fear. x_x'"
Lucretia: "Fascinating. I would like to meet this friend of yours."
Routa: "Me too! Ummm is anyone else hungry? : P"
Lazare: "He's not my friend Oh just let it be : D"

Illalliseksi oli pizzaa, pikkuinen porukka kerääntyi ruokapöydän ääreen ja he viettivät iltaa jutellen milloin mistäkin. 

There was pizza for dinner and the small group gathered around the dining table and they spent the evening talking about various things.

Lost in the Forest

Routa tapaa uuden ystävän metsäretkellään!

My doll meets a new friend in the forest!

Routa vaelteli metsässä, ja kuuli vieraan äänen.

Routa was wandering in the forest when he heard a stranger's voice.

Deep in the forest:

Lazare: "Noel! Noel, missä sinä olet?!"

Lazare: "Noel! Noel, where are you?!"

Lazare: "Minne se ehti juosta... Ei se voi olla kaukana!"

Lazare: "Where could he have run to... He can't be far from here!"

Lazare: *säpsähtää kuullessaan askelia*

Lazare: *alerted when hears someone's steps*

Lazare: "Se ei ollutkaan Noel... O:"
Routa: "Hei! Mitä sinä täällä metsässä huutelet? Kuka olet? : )"

Lazare: "It wasn't Noel... O:"
Routa: "Hi! What are you shouting about in the middle of the forest? Who are you? : )"

Lazare: "Nimeni on Lazare. Etsin Noelia, hän juoksi edelläni metsään."

Lazare: "My name is Lazare. I'm looking for Noel, he ran to the forest without waiting me."

Routa: "Noel?"
Lazare: "Se on ystäväni, eikun siis kissani, tai siis matkakumppanini!"
Routa: "..Ahaa..? o_O"

Routa: "Noel?"
Lazare: "He's my friend, umm no, my cat, I mean my travel partner!"
Routa: "..I see...? o_O'"

Routa: "Kohta tulee pimeä. Entä jos tulisit mukaani, ja jättäisit Noelille viestin?"
Lazare: "Voin taikoa hänelle kartan olinpaikkaani kun hän löytää viestini. Ennemmin tai myöhemmin hän tietää että olen käynyt täällä."

Routa: "It will be dark soon. Why don't you come with me and leave a message to Noel?"
Lazare: "I can use my magic to leave him a map to my whereabouts. Sooner or later he will know I was here."

Lazare: *taikoo viestin*
"Noel, tapasin vieraanvaraisen pojan! Seuraa jättämiäni taikamerkkejä ja tule perässä."

Lazare: *uses magic to create a message*
"Noel, I met a very hospitable boy! Follow the magic markings I left behind and make your way to us."

Routa: "Noin! Mennään meille odottamaan häntä."
Lazare: "Noel löytää kyllä perille... Ei sitä huvita yksin kulkea."

Routa: "There we go! Let's go to my place to wait for him."
Lazare: "Noel will find us... He doesn't care much to travel alone."

Lazaren profiili on vielä kesken(kuvan laitoin jo), mutta voin lyhyesti kertoa hänestä.
Hän on demoni, lähtöisin Ranskasta, jossa hän tapasi Noelin, matkakumppaninsa. Näitä kahta yhdistää kirous, ja he joutuivat vastenhakoisesti matkustamaan kahdestaan(ei ollut niin mukavaa aluksi), mutta siitä lisää myöhemmin. Noel ei muuten ole Monster High nukke. : D

Lazare's profile isn't ready yet(the photo is up though) but here's very shortly about him.
He's a demon from France and he met his travel partner Noel there. These two are bound by a curse against their will, and ended up travelling together(wasn't that fun for them at first), more of that later on! By the way, Noel won't be a Monster High doll. : D

Routaa nauratti ajatus siitä, että hän löysi eksyneen demonin metsästä, jolta vielä oli kaverikin hukassa, mutta hän ei maininnut asiasta Lazarelle. :''> Routa myös haluaa esitellä uuden ystävänsä muille talon asukeille, eli vampyyrineideille, gargoili tytölle ja ihmispojalle. Egyptiläisneitokainen Akh on edelleen reissussa(eli kustomoinnissa sen takia poissa kuvioista), mutta toivottavasti hänkin liittyy pian seuraan.

Routa found it hilarious that he found a lost demon in the forest, and the said demon had already lost his friend too, but he didn't mention that to Lazare. :''> Routa also wants to introduce his new friend to others living at the house, to the vampire ladies, the gargoyle girl and the human boy. The Egyptian girl Akh is still away on a trip(she's being customized that's why she's not in the stories/photos) but hopefully she will join the group too soon enough.
